A golden opportunity awaits all the tremendous bands in Karnataka to win the ultimate showdown - BATTLE OF BANDS.
Entry Fee : ₹2999/-
1. The Bands will be selected for the competition based on the videos provided.
2. A Band can have a maximum of 10 members on stage with minimum of 1 drummer and 1 guitarist.
3. Genres like Rock, Metal and Fusion are preferred. However, there is no restriction for other genres.
4. Each team is allotted 5 minutes for sound-check and 15 minutes for the performance.
5. Exceeding the 20 minutes will earn drastic negative points.
6. Judgment criterion is based on Musical quality, Technical Merit, Band synchronization, Stage Presence and overall performance.
7. Bonus marks are awarded for original composition, musical complexity and theme integration.
8. Organizers hold the right to disqualify any band at their discretion without prior notice.
9. Decision of the organizers in any circumstances will be final.
10. Any vulgarity will lead to disqualification.
11. Results of this event won't be considered for Winner and Runners Trophy of the fest.
12. Last day to submit entries will be 28th June 2022.
13. In case of any technical fault, timers shall be reset, and the participant will be allowed to perform from the beginning.

Round 1:
1. Participants will be required to perform a 1.5 -minute sequence and send a video (without edits). The video must be recorded on a static camera.
2. The use of fire, powder or any other harmful elements is strictly restricted.
3. Mail your entries along with your name, university registration number, contact, number and college name at team33hisham@gmail.com by 28th June.
4. Selected contestants will be updated via mail.
Round 2:
1. The participants must prepare for a 5 minutes routine +2 minute prep time will be given.
2. The music track should be provided to the event coordinator on the day, prior to the event.
3. The soundtracks of the prepared sequences must be submitted to the event coordinator in a pen drive, prior to the event
4. If the routine exceeds the permitted time, the performance will be cut short.
5. Judges and organizers' decisions are final.
BATTLE OF DANCE

Entry Fee : ₹250/-
A manually controlled robot either tethered or wireless has to tackle the opponent robot and goal a spherical object into the opponent's goal post to score.
Game Play:
1. All the matches will be knockout matches (one team will be played against another team)
2. Each match duration is of 6 mins and it is divided into 2 half of duration of 3mins each
3. A tennis ball of size 7cm(approx.) will be placed at the center of the court, on scoring a goal one point is awarded to the scoring team.
4. A robot can push or hit the ball. It cannot withhold or grab the ball.
5. Scoring rules will be announced on the day of the event.
Robot Specifications:
1. The robot should be of size 30 X 30 cm including arms.
2. Robot should not exceed 5 kg.
3. No arm that can affect the opponent arm and shouldn't use any sharp materials in it.
4. The robot can be wired / wireless.
5. The robot should be self-powered with supply not exceeding 12V.
6. Tolerance of 5% will be given for only size and potential. ARENA SIZE: 8 feet x 4 feet; GOAL POST: 40 cm x 40 cm;
1. Team can have a maximum number of 4 members.
2. Only 1 participant should control the robot; no player can be exchanged in the match.
3. Participants cannot draw power from outside.
4. Participants will not be allowed to change the batteries of the robot once kept on the field.
5. The machine can be powered electrically only. Use of an IC engine in any form is not allowed.
6. External power supply will not be provided.
7. All efforts must be made to protect battery terminals from direct short and causing a battery fire, failure to do so will cause direct disqualification.
8. A robot can push or hit the ball. It cannot withhold or grab the ball.
9. Human interference (touching the robot) during the game is not allowed
10. For wired bot two wire tangling time out will be provided.
11. Two technical time outs will be provided.

The event will consist of one-on-one matches between the teams. Thereafter, the winning team proceeds to the next round and losing team will be eliminated from the competition. The process continues until a single team captures the winner's title.
Design Criteria :
1. Dimensions of the bot: 60 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm 15% tolerance on each dimension)
2. Weight: 45kg (10% tolerance) Attack mechanisms are not allowed. However, ONLY lifting mechanisms are allowed Communication: Wired or wireless (Techniques found to be interfering with the opponent's communication will result in DISQUALIFICATION)
3. Battery potential: 36 V (Maximum) Explosive batteries are NOT allowed Lego kits, readymade kits, car boses, and development boards ane not permitted, Readymade gearboxes are permitted.
1. The aim of every match is to demolish and immobilize the other bot completely
2. Every match will consist of 2 rounds of 3 minutes each and each subsequent round will have a time gap of 1 minute.
3. Maximum time-out of 4 minutes is allowed for the whole match
4. If, after the completion of both the rounds, no bot is able to demolish or immobilize the other bot, the winner will be selected after evaluating the points and damage incurred to both the bots.
5. Any change in the rules by the judge shall be intimidated to the teams in the event arena
6. The competition will be played on a knock-out basis.
7. The bot will be inspected for safety before the event begins. If found to be unsafe for the participants/spectators,it will be discarded
8. The organizers reserve the right to change any or all of the rules as they deem fit. Changes in rules, if any, will be highlighted
9. Violation of any of the rules will result in immediate disqualification
10. The maximum time limit for the clash of combatants inside the arena minutes is 10.
11. A bot will be declared immobile (out) if it cannot exhibit a linear motion of at least one inch within 20 seconds. A bot with one side of its drive train disabled will not be counted out if it can demonstrate some degree of controlled movement.
12. Teams that are not ready when called for battle will be considered to have declared a walkover and will receive no points.
13. The bot cannot be split into two sub-units. Two distinct parts connected by a flexible cable will be considered separate units
14. Damaging the arena will lead to negative points depending on the degree of damage.
15. A bot should not violate the specified design criteria.
16. Teams should follow safety rules. Failing to do so will cause direct disqualification.
17. In all cases, the judges' decision will be final and binding
18. Points will be based on PIN, RAM, and TOPPLE. Weightage of points will be informed on the day of the event.
19. External contestants should preferably register a priori. Spot registrations are also permitted.
Team regulations:
1. Min. 2 members & Max. 4 memebers in a team.
2. Only students from the same college can form a team.
3. Only Students currently pursuing Undergraduate engineering degree are allowed.
4. Multiple number of teams from same college are allowed.
5. You must present your college ID and PID while registering.
6. An individual cannot be a member of more than one team.
7. A robot cannot be shared by two or more teams The robot should follow the specifications provided. Any deviation from the mentioned specifications will lead to Direct disqualifications.
8. Both wired and wireless bots are allowed.
9. Structural Integrity of the bot should be maintained. Changes to structure between matches are not allowed.
10. Bots with wired controls should have dedicated person to hold the wires and prevent it from entangling.
11. Wireless radio controllers shouldn't interfere with opponent’s transmitter.
12. The decisions made by the Judge panel will be final.
